Academic Profile

I haven´t been in front of a classroom as a teacher yet, so I haven´t had the opportunity to carry on all these aspects  that an in service teacher has to deal in their everyday life, and I´m sure they are all skills that teachers develop once they have to deal with all the aspects of the teaching practice.
Although I haven´t had experience of being an everyday teacher I have had practices that have helped me develop more confidence on the fact that I´m going to be able to be in front of a classroom, I definitely feel more confident now that I did months ago,  I now manage to control the nervousness of being in front of a class, and I feel that I´m capable of making lesson plans and carrying them out in the classroom. Of course I feel that there are so many aspects that I need to improve moreover learn about the teaching practice;  but I feel that
it should be a natural process translating all the theory learned to the practice, so that´s why I´m excited about carrying on this subject of  ¨Servicio Social¨ which not only is going to get me closer to the finish line but also it´s going to give me more elements to be a teacher and put into practice all the competence I have develop throughout this learning experience

  1. Hi Montserrat,

Servicio Social will definitely provide you with practical experience, and I'm sure that by the end you will feel even more confident in the classroom. Don't worry too much about nerves though - I think many of us experience "first day nerves" at the beginning of a semester!
